Game of Thrones Season 8 was filled with plenty of plot holes and rushed storylines. Everyone thought HBO and the writers will fix things at the ending, but it only made it worse. Game of Thrones has finally ended with Season 8 which is now hated by fans. In addition to the set mistakes of Starbucks cup in Winterfell, here is everything wrong in Season 8.

Game of Thrones Season 8: Battle Tactics were a Joke

The Long Night or The Battle of Winterfell in Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3 was wrong in so many ways. Every Game of Thrones has one big battle, and it was the main highlight, the living versus the dead. What went wrong is that the whole episode was so dark, no one was able to see anything.

The visibility thing can still be understood to have a POV of the characters, but the battle tactics used were so illogical. The Dothraki army was sent in the unknown without any knowledge and they were almost finished. The trenches were built behind the front lines, which made no sense. The whole battle strategy followed in Season 8 was a big joke.

Jon Snow vs Night King

Game of Thrones was building up a fight between Jon Snow and the Night King from season 5 of the HBO TV show. There were many staredowns between them during the last few seasons. Season 8 should have a final battle, where Jon Snow finally faces his arch enemy, the King of the Dead. What we got instead was Jon Snow yelling at a Dragon and the Night King was killed by Arya with ease.

The whole character of Euron

Another reason people are hating the Season 8 of Game of Thrones is that it has done injustice to the characters. Euron Greyjoy is such an interesting character in the books, with so many mysteries surrounding him. Euron in books have a magic horn that controls Dragons, he went to Valyria and obtained a magic armor.

While the whole character of Euron Greyjoy is like a cheap knock off for the pirate character Captain Jack Sparrow. Euron in Season 8 has killed a Dragon and yet somehow thinks his biggest achievement is killing Jaime Lannister, which is also unsuccessful.

Dany goes mad by Bells

Queen Daenerys Targaryen just goes full mad queen without any prior build up in Season 8. The writers decided just to turn her into a tyrant who burns innocent people all because she hears some bells. Dany who has always protected the weak, somehow slaughters the whole population of King’s Landing in Season 8 of Game of Thrones.

Bran does nothing

Brandon Stark, the three-eyed raven, the all-seeing entity does nothing for the entire Season 8. Bran just talks about useless historical things which have no impact on the story. He doesn’t even wargs into any of the Dragons to help in any fight. The biggest mistake is that Bran is still somehow made the King of six kingdoms.

Game of Thrones Season 8 Ending is so underwhelming

Game of Thrones could have somehow saved itself with a good ending which gives everyone a better send off. Instead, they went on with the worst ending possible for Season 8 of Game of Thrones. There was no impact, the story would have been the same, it just ruined Game of Thrones for fans.

Apart from that, there are so many other things that are wrong in Game of Thrones Season 8. Poor writing and less number of episodes will be the major mistakes of this Season. Fans are so angry that they are already asking for a Game of Thrones Season 9.
