Jimmy Butler was traded in by Miami Heat in hopes for winning the next NBA title and getting their glory days back. While Butler is no LeBron James who can single-handedly take the Miami to the finals, he matches the legend in terms of his attitude.
An NBA executive who has previously worked with Butler has shared some shocking information about the small forward. Butler is kind of a player who let his emotions fully display out in the open. Miami Heat could be in a lot of trouble if they can’t control the locker room issues of Butler.
Locker Room Issues with Butler
NBA is becoming more of a business event each day and players don’t have any control over it. Jimmy Butler doesn’t want to play for Minnesota Timberwolves and it was evident in the locker room. He had no chemistry with his teammates, barely talked to them outside the court and it leads to the team losing most of the matches.
The same thing happened when Butler was traded to Philadelphia 76ers, he was not happy with the deal and just wanted to get out. It is the kind of attitude which damages the whole team and cost you the whole deal. Butler is a very hard player to get along with, and without a proper pairing, there is no chance at winning the next NBA title.
Miami Heat and Butler Deal
Miami Heat signed Jimmy Butler for a four-year deal at $141 million salary amount. As a part of the deal, Miami had to give up Josh Richardson to the 76ers. Fans are hoping that Butler does something which makes him worth it, otherwise Richardson was traded for nothing.

Can Jimmy Butler lead the Miami Heat to a deep playoff run? 👀 He's still arguably a top 15 player and one of the better two way players in the league today. He's a good leader and teammate even though the media try to portray as this locker room cancer.

During his last season with Timberwolves and 76ers, Butler had an average of 18.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.0 assists. His stats also included shooting 46.2 percent from the field, 34.7 percent from beyond the arc and 85.5 percent from the free-throw line. Miami Heat couldn’t make it to the playoffs last season and are hoping adding Butler would change that in the NBA 2019-20 season.
